Instructables - DIY How To Make Instructions App Reviews

Try re downloading several times, nothing works. Always crashes when trying to check specific theme of diy other than explore all. Been weeks, figured youd care enough to fix.

Every time I click explore all, it crashes. Deleted the app, dont recommend it until its fixed.

As others have noted, this app crashes immediately upon touching the "Explore All" dropdown.

Has good information, Im a big fan of the website. But every time I login from the app, the login sequence takes place in safari, and then doesnt switch back to the instructables app, thereby preventing me from logging in with the app. And then am unable to save projects to the app.

The app is simple and so nice but it crashes after hitting (explore all) every time By the way Im update my iPad 3 to iOS 9 and installed fresh app from the store . Thanks so much for developing helpful app like instructable....

I have downloaded pretty much any DIY/How-to apps out there. This one is easily my favorite. I check out whats upload daily and love the ideas from the how-tos.

Does not work with iOS 9 Cannot forward,email,etc,etc.

I really love the app, I just think they need to fix some things(ie...Having to log in after a little while of not using the app...Having to go into safari to log in... Etc.) UPDATE: Fix your app. This wont even allow me to log in anymore.

Every time I press the explore all tab, the app crashes. I have a 1st gen iPad mini. Please fix this bug. Its kinda hard to look at categories.

I cant log in anymore. Also, the login with Facebook button is gone! Please fix this bug and bring back the login with Facebook button.

Every time I try to login using my Facebook account, it takes me back to the login tab that opens in Safari, but never allows me to log on. Love the app (aside from this bug that has been a nuisance for the past few months), but I really would like to favorite projects on my phone to look at later :/

Performing an action that requires login routes me to my web browser. When I log in through the browser, there is no re-route to the app. It does not recognize my login when going back to the app.

Crashes whenever I hit the explore all button

Instructables was a great app until they released an update under Apples new age rating system, and let it be flagged for "gambling" of all things! At "17+" rating, my privacy settings block it, now. Im not going to open the door to junk just for this app. I emailed tech support for Autodesk but got nothing. Instructables didnt seem to have their own app support site, just community help.

Cant even click on the tab without the app crashing, even got the new update for my iPad mini just to see if that fixed it, no such luck.

Great functionality and way to browse when not on desktop, but now I cant authenticate via my phone without logging into FB through Safari. I dont keep cookies, so its now not really worth the time to alter settings to login, then alter again after Im done browsing. Other than that, great!

This app is unusable in its current form. It will crash anytime you hit a button like "explore". You have to use the website if you want to see whats new and exciting, something the app use to be good for. They do not respond to emails either.

I cant create an account through social media. I want to be able to track what I like.

First problem: When I try and log into the app so I can save an instruct able it redirects me to the web browser version. So I log into the website hoping its going to link and it doesnt. Second problem: When you are in the feed and click a link/instructable... You are not able to go back without it going to the top again. This is so frustrating. Apps like craigslist will take you back to where you left off. This app could be so amazing but it these make it to where I dont want to use it.

So I have liked the idea of using instructables for a long time. So I decided to finally download the app and see what was up. However there is zero way for me to login without it redirecting me to the website. Which I can then use in my safari APP but it wont let me use the actual app to do anything. There is no way to save anything that way. And its making me very annoyed. It isnt just once or twice. This is over months of trying again and again.
